Here & There. Mapping A Horizonless Manhattan

What they came up with is now called “Here & There,” and it lets you simultaneously and seamlessly view a city from the point of view where your are standing and from a bird’s eye view in the sky.
Why? “Because the ability to be in a city and to see through it is a superpower, and it’s how maps should work.”

That is a super cool map. I agree that that is how it is supposed to work. Now if they overlay the real pictures of the buildings onto it then I doubt anyone would ever get lost. I wonder what the business model would be for a website like that, I bet to recoup to the upfront tech costs they will have to sell a ton of advertising. I like it as a product though.
