Another stunning video shot on the Canon 5D, this time of the active volcano in Iceland.

Sean Stiegemeier was inspired to get out and shoot the event after the saw all the ‘mediocre pictures’ being shown on tv.

Great colour. Great music. Love it.

Takes a while to initalise the first time, but once the data is in there it’s loads of fun to play with. It’s also got a really nice ‘personal mode’ that hooks up to iPhoto to display pics taken at the time you listened to the music.

Digging in the Crates is an interactive installation by designer / developer Roland Loesslein which attempts to explore Sampling as a production technology of modern music using modified turntables and information graphics to understand the relationships between the sample and composition.

Created using Flash Actionscript3/Adobe Air as part of his diploma thesis in the Department of Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg.

Really nice work. And I get to post photos of 1210′s. Double Win.

Filmed in a two story warehouse, in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA. The “machine” was designed and built by the band, along with members of Synn Labs over the course of several months.

This is the Rube Goldberg machine version. In other words, a video depicting complex devices that perform simple tasks in indirect, convoluted ways.

Currently at 679 views. Expect a jump soon.

Love this music video by Barno created around the relationship between light, music, and architecture.

The clip is defined by 3 elements:
-One videofile, shot between 2am and 6pm.
-The speed of playback of this file, which is synchronised manually to the music.
-About 50 different masks, wich define where the underlayed movie is going to appear on the screen.

This makes it possible to have multiple light situations in the same moment. So the sunlight caught from the building is the “natural” palette for the entire colors of the clip.
